The Computer Science Graduate Student Organization (CSGSO) is here to make your life a little better as graduate students at UIUC. We are in touch with the faculty and administration to ensure that your needs are met, and we organize small events to keep things interesting. Our tasks include:

• Expressing our concerns to the department head and academic office
• Maintaining the CS-Grads Slack team so that people have a platform to communicate
• Helping organize the visit weekend for newly admitted graduate students
• Providing food and snacks on announced Fridays and occasionally arranging for a sponsored Friday Extravaganza (FE)
• Planning other social events for CS graduate students
• Organizing department happy hours and joint happy hours with other departments
